Limited edition of 200 numbered and signed copies. The top edition features a different cover image from the original edition, and is protected by a PVC dust jacket on which the missing character from the cover image is printed in color so as to superimpose itself on the cover.
Each first edition contains:
the book numbered from 1 to 200 and signed
a signed and numbered print from 1 to 200, size 18 × 26 cm, chosen from among three prints, slipped into the jacket pocket provided for this purpose
an object belonging to the author. Your choice of an original page from your passport, a page from your travel journal or a small-format slide of a photo taken in Afghanistan.

Afghan Style - le livre
Afghan Style is a quasi-encyclopedic book at the crossroads of photo reportage and fashion. In it, Robert Spangle analyzes the style, silhouettes, colors, materials and accessories of Afghan men.
His photographs, taken over several years - before and after the Taliban came to power - are brought together in a meticulous 276-page work. The book is prefaced by Esquire Magazine editor Nick Sullivan.
Biography
Robert Spangle is a photographer and designer based in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Malibu and served in the United States Marine Corps from 2007 to 2011, with two deployments to Afghanistan. After his service, fascinated by menswear, he became a tailor in London and then began working as a fashion photographer for GQ in the UK and on fashions weeks around the world. He launched his fashion label Observer Collection in 2018 before returning to photojournalism in 2022, during which time he extensively documented the Ukrainian conflict.
